About us
Junior Massive opened their online store in July 09 and are quickly emerging as a boutique T-shirt label with fresh designs.
Having launched off the back of art, music and fashion trendspotting sites from New York to Europe like ffffoud.com, The Cool Hunter and Lost at Eminor, the label quickly picked up a niche fan base spanning the globe who include breakthrough bands and DJ’s.
French German DJ outfit Saint Pauli, Diplo (UK), Miami Horror (Mel), Mstrkrft (CAN) and Feadz (FRA) have all been sporting the labels wears.
They make limited edition t-shirts to ensure exclusivity. What’s more. Junior Massive is committed to supporting Australian manufacturing and local business, so the T-shirts are made in Melbourne with Australian cotton.
Their influences stem from music, art, design and popular culture which are rapidly evolving, consistently providing inspiration for new designs.
The designers have backgrounds in fashion, art, music and have played for signed bands supporting the likes of Ice T, Body Count, Beastie Boys and Frank Black and the Pixies. More recently they can be caught in the wee hours of the night performing DJ sets along side Modular records artisits like Van She Tech, Miami Horror and Italy’s The Bloody Beetroots.
2009 is the launch year for Junior Massive who’ll draw on their experience, inspiration and random googling to create edgy and sometimes irreverent prints that appeal to a lost generation.
‘09 till the bitter end - Junior Massive.
